Our Belifes

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”
— Ephesians 2:8

Salvation

Salvation is God’s gift of forgiveness and eternal life, saving us from sin’s penalty.
‍
We have all sinned against God and cannot make ourselves right with Him through good works.God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, who lived without sin and died for our sins on the cross. He rose again, having completed the work needed for our salvation.

Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It cannot be earned through religious practice or personal effort; it rests entirely on Christ.

“Then they that gladly received his word were baptized”
— Acts 2:41

Baptism

Baptism is an act of obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ after salvation.
By being immersed in water, a believer publicly identifies with Him in His death, burial, and resurrection.

Going beneath the water pictures burial with Christ; coming up pictures being raised to walk in newness of life. Baptism expresses a believer’s commitment to follow Him.Baptism does not wash away sin or earn salvation. We are saved through faith in Christ alone;

“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
— Matthew 18:20

Assembly Truth

A local assembly is a group of Christians gathered to the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
‍
We recognize Him as Lord and look to the Bible to guide us. We gather for worship, prayer, Bible teaching, and preaching the gospel, following the pattern found in the New Testament.

Those received into assembly fellowship have trusted in Christ and been baptized, as seen in Acts 2:41–42. At the Breaking of Bread on Sunday mornings, we remember the Lord Jesus Christ and His death for us.

Those in assembly fellowship take the bread and wine; those not in fellowship are welcome to attend and observe.
